Dining in Korcula Croatia

Konoba ADIO MARE, Korčula

Adio Mare is Korcula Town's oldest family run restaurant and little has changed since it opened in 1974, next to Marco Polo's house. It's a friendly, buzzy, hearty Dalmatian restaurant showcasing tradition rather than innovation. Favourite dishes are brodet fish stew with polenta, grilled meats or the pasta with beans. There is a decent selection of local wines. For reservation contact Bojić Family.

Konoba Marinero, Korčula

Korcula's Restaurant "Konoba Marinero" is located in an alley in the Old Town. Konoba Marinero offers fine seafood in an authentic and warm setting. Mother is the chef and her son catches the daily supply of fish. A favourite is fish cooked a la gregada baked with potatoes and vegetables in juicy sauce pouted up with hunks of bread. Another choice is a fish on lesho, gently boiled with vegetables. For table bookings visit konobamarinero.com or call ++385 (0)20 711 170

Top Restaurants in Dalmatia

Pelegrini, Sibenik

Pelegrini restaurant is located close to the entrance to St. Jacobs Cathedral, an UNESCO World heritage site in Dalmatia, Croatia. This is a place where heritage is respected with the interior design of former Pelegrini Palace tavern. This atmosphere inspires food lover and restaurateur Rudolf Stefan to serve dishes bringing together local ingredients from Sibenik own  market, blending traditional and innovative. Local mussels are delivered every morning to the waterfront, a short walk from the restaurant. The Pelegrini mussels are prepared with a twist, using cider, leek and a touch of bacon, with  a glass of good local red wine, it is a must. For  reservations call the personnel at Pelegrini . Enjoy.
